This plugin adresses the navagation problem for users that are enrolled in a lot of courses at a moodle site.

It enables the users to configure an individual course-quick-access for themselves with simple course to folder assignments. All user configuration is optional. If a user does not want to configure the plugin for himself, the behaviour of the default “my courses-block” is mimicked.

Also there a some optional JavaScript functionalities that enhance the course search and provide a more sophisticated user experience.

Language files are available in english and german.

I'm trying to install this block to Moodle 2.3, but I have this error:

Invalid table name {block_course_quick_access_qacategory}: name is too long. Limit is 28 chars.

Not compatible with Moodle 2.4 and 2.5

The compatibility breaks as of Moodle 2.3 because of this issue: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-28080 The table names need to be shortened to 28 characters or less.

If anybody is interested, I have updated this plugin for compatibility with 2.8 (possibly earlier versions, but I only tested with 2.8). You are welcome to post issues in GitHub if you find problems. https://github.com/thepurpleblob/moodle-course-quick-access
