What is the Accessibility Overview?

The purpose of the Accessibility Overview Block is to provide a concise overview of the Moodle site's accessibility features and their statuses.

What is included in the block are the useful summary points of the Brickfield Accessibility Toolkit and other accessibility offerings as a concise listing, with go-to links.

It is intended to be used by Moodle site administrators, managers, teachers/lecturers, learning technologists, and DEI facilitators.

Usage

You can add the Accessibility Overview to your Moodle Home page, and to any course main pages.

On the Accessibility Overview, admins, managers, and teachers can: * View the Brickfield Starter summary details. * View the Brickfield Enterprise summary details. * View the Brickfield services summary details.

Version support

This plugin has been developed to work on Moodle releases 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, & 4.4.

  • Visit the admin page to install plugin

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Blocks

  1. Make sure you have all the required versions.
  2. Download and unpack the block folder.
  3. Place the folder (eg "myblock") in the "blocks" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to complete the installation
  5. Turn editing on in any home or course page.
  6. Add the block to the page
  7. Visit the config link in the block for more options.
