ReLogin

As the browser closed the user not logged in any more even if the session is not expired, this plugin provide auto login mechanism to re-login the users with unexpired sessions.

This plugin works on two techniques, one using cookies and the other using ip address.

Admins can decided which technique will be used or both.

Cookies stored by this plugin expires if the user normally logged out.

Installing via uploaded ZIP file

  1. Log in to your Moodle site as an admin and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins.
  2. Upload the ZIP file with the plugin code. You should only be prompted to add extra details if your plugin type is not automatically detected.
  3. Check the plugin validation report and finish the installation.

Installing manually

The plugin can be also installed by putting the contents of this directory to

{your/moodle/dirroot}/auth/relogin

Afterwards, log in to your Moodle site as an admin and go to Site administration > Notifications to complete the installation.

Alternatively, you can run

$ php admin/cli/upgrade.php

to complete the installation from the command line.

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Authentication

  1. Make sure you have all the required versions.
  2. Download and unpack the module.
  3. Place the folder (eg "myauth") in the "auth" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
