This plugin allows the Moodle administrator to define as many correction types as wanted (e.g. orthographic error, pronoun error, capitalization, etc.). Buttons in the Atto editor then allow users to make inline marks in texts.

    Hi Aurelien,
The button is enabled when you have selected a range of text.

    Hi Nicolas,
I have enable everything. The plugin does work on few instances such as when i write message throughout the plugin "homework". I think the error is due to the way the button is meant to appear as you select the text.

    Hi Aurelien,
I don't understand. Can you explain step by step exactly what happens when the plugin does not work as expected?

Just to clarify for any new potential users:

The way to use this for adding comments/corrections to students' answers on essay items within the quiz module, etc., is to copy/paste their answers into your own text box and annotate it there.

Just FYI: When I select a correction type with the dropdown on the button, it is only reflected in the correction window the first one or two assignments. After that, regardless of what I select, the dropdown in the entry window has reset to my top correction in the list.

We are now staging an upgrade to Moodle 3.6. It appears Atto Corrections will not work with that version, a major obstacle. Are there plans to upgrade the plugin to work with Moodle 3.6? Hope so.

    Dear James,
Our initial testing shows that this plugin should work without any hiccups in Moodle 3.6. Could you please elaborate?
