The YouTube assignment submission allows students to record or upload videos directly into YouTube from within an assignment. The video file is stored on YouTube, though it is accessible from Moodle. This allows students to submit long videos, videos in different formats and to use almost any PC or device.

This is the first public release of the YouTube assignment submission. It was designed, funded and released to the Moodle community by the The Apostolic Network of Global Awakening ( http://www.globalawakening.com ). The plugin was developed by Justin Hunt from http://www.poodll.com .

Integration with OAuth2 is new in this version.

Default installation instructions for plugins of the type Assignment submissions

  1. Make sure you have all the required versions.
  2. Download and unpack the plugin.
  3. Place the folder (eg "myassignsubmission") in the "/mod/assign/submission" subdirectory.
  4. Visit http://yoursite.com/admin to finish the installation
