Mahara Assignment Feedback
Mahara Assignment Feedback Plugin
This feedback plugin offers a purely supporting role to its submission sibling. It allows Moodle to automatically release submitted Mahara portfolio pages once they have been graded.
If you are using Moodle 2.7 or later you do should not install this plugin. The same functionality is handled by the submission plugin itself.
Requirements
Installation
See the installation instructions for the Mahara assignment submission plugin.
Once you've installed the Mahara assignment submission plugin, this plugin can be installed via the normal method, either using the Moodle web installer, or extracting the plugin to mod/assign/feedback/mahara.
Upgrading
Older versions of this plugin (for Moodle 2.5 and earlier) required an additional local plugin to be installed in Moodle. If you have installed that local plugin, you can uninstall it once you have updated the assignment submission plugin and the assignment feedback plugin to the version for Moodle 2.6.
Usage
Create a Moodle assignment. On the assignment config page, under the "Feedback" section, you'll see an option for "Mahara feedback". If you activate this option, then the Mahara pages & collections submitted by students, will be automatically unlocked when the page/collection is graded. (Without this plugin, the page/collection remains locked from editing in Mahara, permanently.)
If you set the Mahara submission option to not lock pages on submission, this plugin will have no effect. (Because there will be nothing to unlock.)

Also in the version.php, I like to encourage folks to explicitly declare the GPL license. More information can be found in http://docs.moodle.org/dev/version.php.
Also, I try to encourage (thought it is not an absolute requirement) for folks to use the Moodle naming convention for the Github.com repositories. The ideal name for the repository would be moodle-assignfeedback_mahara. This makes life simpler for Moodle site admins who maintain their sites using Git.
I am going to approve this but would ask that you tidy up the version.php next time you get a chance. It would also be good if we could see a screenshot.
I did not actually test the functionality of this plugin as I do not have a test instance of Mahara up and running at the moment but I trust Netspot and Pukunui have done good work on this plugin.
