Hi Paul. You can see Moodle 4.0 in action on our QA site https://qa.moodledemo.net/ and the HTML block has been renamed Text block - it is still there, just with a less geeky name ;)

Hello Andrea. I suggest you get a free MoodleCloud site (you can test it and see if you like it for 45 days before deciding whether to pay for it) and then definitely do the Admin Basics and Moodle Teaching Basics courses on Learn.moodle.org - they are designed for people like you. They are free and you can do them any time you want for as long as you want. You will need to create a separate account for MoodleCloud and a separate account for Learn Moodle - but you can use the same details on each one if you like.
Also check out Moodle Academy, our learning hub for the global Moodle community.
Once you have more experience teaching with Moodle, you can look at this presentation I did on Teaching languages with Moodle:
Hi Steve (and jealous you are in Paris) I did a quick tracker search and found the same error message reported here MOBILE-3737 - but they are basically suggesting it is related to H5p/web services. Do you have any H5P?
Ah yes - thanks to Ken I looked at your previous posts and indeed if you are hosted with MoodleCloud, you cannot install plugins (and it does say so in the FAQ at the bottom of this page: https://moodle.com/moodlecloud/
This is interesting because - although I don't have a 3.9 Moodle - I did try on our sandbox site sandbox.moodledemo.net and if the "eye" is closed, then the label doesn't appear to the student at all - if the "eye" is not closed, then the label does appear in grey with the date it will become completely visible. I expected that. However - I didn't get a pink warning alert, as you have shown on your screenshot, which seems to be something else.
