Hi David. Could you post a screenshot of what you can see on your course page? (You can add it as an attachment to a forum post here) Just that I am not too sure what you mean by deleting the assignments link - you might have a custom theme or something here.

You can't delete a scale that is in use. It doesn't have the delete button available. So are you trying to say -you want a way of knowing which assignments use this scale, so you can go and take the scale out of those assignments((change it to a different scale) so you can then delete that particular scale?I'd like to know that too But what I don't get is - if a scale is used a lot, then why would you want to delete it?

Are you the only admin on your Moodle? Are you root admin? Do you have ftp access to your Moodle?

Daryl - you need to go to your course tutor and ask them the actual  name of your school Moodle and then enrol into there -you've come  by mistake to the main Moodle site where people talk about Moodle but your course isn't here
