Could you post a screenshot please? I'm not sure what you mean by "collapsed", especially for a student.

Good point, Wes. Although we have different documentation for each version of Moodle - see http://docs.moodle.org/overview/ it does seem that Google prefers the 2.3 documentation when searching; it hasn't quite caught up yet. I have added it there too.

You can use the Import course data feature to bring in your activities from other courses into one course, if that helps.
