To upload a bunch of users into cohorts, all you need is username and cohort1, cohort2 etc.  I just tested it. Yes - if the users already exist on the system (like for deleting them) But if they don't exist and you are uploading them from nothing into an existing cohort, then you need all their details, which is what the documentation is trying to say. (I just added a note that if they are already on the system you don't then need to add everything else.)

Wow Wendi I must say I admire you for digging into the code like that. If I made a new quiz, I would just to into the Gradebook as in the documentation I linked to and set the passing grade each time (but presumably you have loads of quizzes already made)smile

The short answer is No, because any one who is determined could simply do screenshots of the  material anyway, even turning it into nicely printable pdfs. What you can do I suppose is instead of uploading files such as Word processed documents, you can put the reading material in as a Page Then they can't easily download it and they are forced to think of other ways such as screenshots.  But in short, if your material is so important you do not want them to download or print it, then it should not be on the internetwink
