Why not remove the old teacher from the original group and add the new teacher to the original group?

If I recall correctly it is deliberate because otherwise someone with administrator rights could log in as a regular user and gain access to their dropbox or Google driv (for example) which is a security problem.

There is some user data (albeit fake) in courses on school.demo.moodle.net - you can log in with username manager and password moodle and back up courses with user data. Some have more data than others - the Celebrating cultures course for example or the World of Water course are two that come to mind

Thanks Mari; I will have a look at them although I'm sure they'll be fine  I presume you are on 2.5 so you added the to the 2.5 documentation? I'll check to see if we can add them to the 2.6 as well.
