That is terrible.
One reason I _love_ these forums is because people are not mean and harsh and petty. I really hope that this does not happen to you or anyone else any more.
I know that you are a big girl and that you can take it, but I am still sorry it happened.

Richie,
Sounds like a useful hack. Why not post it to the modules and plugins database at http://moodle.org/mod/data/view.php?id=6009? Hacks are in there, too.
And you can add a page to the documentation wiki, too, if you want to be very helpful.

Hi, Rob,
This is what I did. (Prepare to be underwhelmed.)
Hope that helps,
Art
This is what I did. (Prepare to be underwhelmed.)
- Created an instance of the mod that allows teachers and students to upload.
- Created a date field, a student name field and a text area field for comments about the files.
- Created multiple fields for file uploads.
- Tweaked the templates a tiny bit.
- Viola! Instant file repository.
Hope that helps,

Hi, Evin,
One option that you might consider is the assignment module. You could create an open-ended assignment to use for this. Depending upon your requirements, this could work quite well.
If you make an online text assignment and enable inline comments and if you allow students to update the assignment, I could see this functioning pretty smoothly. Here is some good info for you about the assignment module - http://docs.moodle.org/en/Assignment_module.
It sounds like you are eager to be very proactive about supporting your students. [Nice!!!
] The good news is that Moodle is very flexible and robust and certainly has a variety of tools to help you do that.
Just some food for thought.
