No, I did not apply this to my site. Just assumed it worked.

This has been my approach so far: If a student just makes an honest mistake, we deal with it.

Otherise, my approach is kind of biblical. If students intentionally (it's usually so obvious, isn't it?) put anything really, truly, clearly inappropriate on the site, I smite them and visit upon them terrible consequences.

We really do need to work this out, though. It will be critical for most American schools, I think.

I think that the folks over at the General Developer Forum can either answer many of your questions or point you in the right direction.

If you do not in a day or two get the responses you need here, you might want to post over there.

You can imagine how busy the developers are, but they really do try to be as helpful as possible.

You know, I keep peeking at this thread and thinking about it. I believe the main reasons I am a happy person are

• the love my mother showed me when I was a boy and
  
• my many connections to wonderful people as an adult, especially my wife and my daughter
• fulfilling work
  

I am not all that introspective, so this may be as far as I get with this.

And I am not sure that it really helps anyone else for me to post it, but there it is.
