So it *is* about performance after all? 150 logged users with 80 GB RAM? No that doesn't look right.

But I won't blame that on openlitespeed. The differences are perhaps in the single digit percentages, depending on what exactly you measure. You have to go back to the initial pointers I gave in my first reply.

P.S. I propose the moderator moves this discussion to the Hardware and performance forum.

Good. The point is, you shouldn't be running Moodle at its maximum load, one fine day "the straw that broke the camel's back" will fall.

> however in the documentation it states that openlitespeed is kinda new and everyone are still figuring things out, so i thought about changing to apache or nginx since it seems that they've been used for far more time and there is a bigger amount of documentation for those two than there are for openlitespeed, making easier to solve future problems.

This is a different thing (from performance). Yes, one could safely say, that on moodle.org openlitespeed is discussed much less often than Apache or Nginx. Convince yourself by running some advanced searches https://moodle.org/mod/forum/search.php?id=5.

"subtleties of moodle forums"? Pretty basic, people answer to what they know, and don't answer to what they don't know. And that on a voluntary basis.

So, take it or leave it!

For transparency: I lost my "new user" lense some time ago. Wish you good luck finding one!

I think it is fair to add the history, so that the helpers won't tramp the same path:

- Installing and upgrading help Plugins kill my Moodle Site (32 posts)

- Help!! (10 posts)

Yes, yes, why the developers (re)named the releases like that?

I think, just like parents, they want to give their children imaginative names. 30, 31, 32, .. how boring? 400, 401, 402, .. much more impressive!
