In the first screen-shot attached to the post https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=340089 you will see that a post originally submitted at 8:05 am is edited and saved at 7:36 am, i.e. 29 minutes _before_ it has been submitted!

I don't think the clock was going backwards, rather this comes from the fact that the local time of the users are shown in the forum _without_ stating the time zone.

My suggestion is to add the time zone to time display. Then one would see, "submitted 08:05 AWST" and "edited 07:36 CEST", i.e. 5 hours 31 minutes _after_ it has been submitted.

Sometime back I had a chat with one Ms. Chaudri, I think Rita Chaudri. Can't find her nor the discussion now. Has anybody a clue?

Interessante Beobachtung. Da ein Teil der Mails versendet werden, gehe ich davon aus, dass der SMTP server (Postfix) i.O. ist. Kannst du die Logs ansehen? Du musst feststellen, ob die fehlenden Mails, von Moodle an Postfix geliefert werden oder nicht. Es gibt auch https://docs.moodle.org/31/en/Debugging#Debug_email_sending, habe selber nie gebraucht.

Kannst sagen was genau du deaktiviert hast, bzw. wie die relevanten Parameter eingestellt sind. Sie haben kurze eindeutige Namen wie smtpmaxbulk, noreplyaddress, .. Oder meinst du Website-Administration> Plugins > Mitteilungsversand > Konfiguration?
