Listening to Linus Torvalds [1]  the other day, I couldn't overlook the parallels in the moodlesphere. The "visionary and the pedestrian" is a popular cliché, I guess. But how about the traits of the salesman, the manager, the engineer, etc. in the moodlesphere?

About:
> Certain threads showed in the forum overview one post as the last post. But the link there pointed to some other post. This happened when the "leaf" posts were later edited.

It is easy to simulate. Answer to the last post of a forum and then edit the that now one before the last post. The overview will show author of the one before the last post but points the link to the real last post. (Well, if you mean the last post in the thread, not chronologically.)

Here is an example from General help https://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=50 (see screen-shot). In that V. R. is the author of the one before the last post. The link itself, https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=380237&parent=1532746, is right though.

Hi

Moodle is a definitely a server application in the https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Client-Server-Modell. It is classically a web server, so the web browser is the client. Mobile Services have been added later, in the 3 series and a https://docs.moodle.org/en/Moodle_app made available - for Android and iOS.

Good question about the theme: From what I saw, the Mobile app always has the same theme. Others will comment, if it is not so.
