Bonsoir Philippe,

Cheers,

Glenys

Moodle in English -> Hotpot (plugin) -> HotPot files on Moodle 2.0

by Glenys Hanson -

Hi Gordon,

I did this:

  1. In Legacy Course Files created a zip file called: jcloze_dewplayer.zip
  2. I created a Hot Pot called JCloze dewplayer 23 jan
  3. Source file name > Add > Legacy Course files >jcloze_dewplayer.zip
  4. Unzip creates a folder called: 0 Why not a folder called jcloze_dewplayer? As 0 it doesn't work. sad
  5. I renamed the folder to jcloze_dewplayer
  6. Opened the folder, set 06_audio.htm as main file
  7. Save and display
  8. Dewplayer and image are fine. big grin

From what I've read on the forums, I've understood we're not supposed to use the Legacy course files. It's like counting on your fingers: it works but big boys and girls don't do it. But I still don't understand the grown up way to do it.

Cheers,

Glenys

Hi Gordon,

I see you haven't had time yet to address the issues I wrote about on the 20th of Jan. I've continued with testing WebSequitur htm (not finished yet) and I've added to the document I wrote 2 days ago (attached here).

Like Claude, I'm not really sure what to put in the tracker. Only the "Exit page" is working perfectly on all the points you mention in the tracker.

The things I've noted as not working perfectly are not specific to WebSequitur, so I imagine, when they're fixed for WebSequitur, they'll be fixed for all the apps.

Cheers,

Glenys
