Thanks for clarifying things. As far as I can tell there is no bug at all here, but I do agree that the quiz settings are quite complex and not easy to work with...

Sorry, but this is far too complicated and I do not know where the various checkings are done. Plus there have been so many important changes to the way questions and quiz work between 1.5 and 1.6 that comparing 1.6 files with 1.5 would probably be no help and might lead to complete crash.

Why don't you simply upgrade to 1.6 or 1.7?

This is really a question for the Quiz forum, not the General problems one. And there is not such a thing as a "true or false type" quiz. Perhaps you mean that your quiz is made up of TRUE/FALSE questions.

When you created the quiz, you were taken to the questions bank. When you were there, did you create a number of TRUE/FALSE questions and Add them to your newly created quiz?

No cross-posting, please. This is a question for the Quiz forum, not for General problems. You can't expect your queries to be answered immediately. You have to learn to be more patient. After all, you only posted this very same question in the Quiz forum yesterday...

Abusing these forums and not abiding the rules is not the best way to invite goodwilling fellow-moodlers to help (although I have to admit there are lots of other people here who are more patient than I am).
