Pity you didn't mention which Moodle version you are using. Anyway, I just pasted the contents of your zuerst_danach_am_ende.txt file into the HTML source view of a newly created cloze question, and it works fine.approve
One frequent source of problem in the cloze question type is the presence of extra "hidden" carriage returns in the HTML code.

Hi William,
One reason why your query did not get answers so far is that it is hard to understand why you would want this behavior. If "not applicable" is a correct answer, then it should count as such, no? Or, to put it another way, if your wish was possible, then if the people taking your quiz see a MCQ question with one of the choices labeled "not applicable" they would simply skip it, in order to not be penalize for a wrong answer.
I'm finding it hard to imagine exactly why you would want that "not applicable" option anyway. Could you provide a real-world example, please?

OK, bien compris. En effet, c'est tout à fait ce que je recherche moi aussi. Mais pour que ça marche avec mon système sous Ajax, il faudrait que l'utilisateur (l'étudiant qui apprend le vocabulaire) dispose de droits d'écriture sur le site Moodle pour que ses essais successifs soient conservés et pris en compte lors des tentatives ultérieures...
Si quelqu'un trouve une solution, je suis preneur!
