If you need a survey type of activity, please consider using either the Feedback or the Questionnaire plugins. They are not (yet) part of Moodle regular distribution so you'll have to download them from the Modules and plugins page and install them on your Moodle site.

For crossword activities you might consider using the HotPot module, it's really user-friendly. By "word search", what do you mean? Please provide an example.

Yes, can some moderator please open a new discussion and transfer those posts about the editor and buttons there? I am confused by your (confusing) post.
Are you actually talking about the Questionnaire module or the Quiz module? You mention both names in your post, but those are 2 totally different Moodle activities. If your post concerns the Quiz module I'd advise you to re-post to the relevant Quiz module forum. If it does concern the Questionnaire module which this forum deals with, could you please re-phrase your post so it is clear? Thanks.
