Uploaded files, put the text and graphics in the course directory of uploaded files. I found a simple way to edit these files:
1. Open the file in the browser.
2. select and copy the complete document.
3. Click on "Update this Resource"
4. Change "Type of Resource" to "HTML Text"
5. Paste the content of the clip board in the HTML editor.
6. Save the file.
If you check the location of the graphics they remain in the course file directory.
I don't think that was the case in the old rich text editor.

Does the global option not provide the glossary to all courses?
On the latest update, of Moodle-latest, the Journal shows some problems on my test server.
The student journal entries are only visible to the students and not to the teacher.
