It works for us as embedded on Firefox and IE ... if your PDF plugin is old then you should see a link to click on instead.

The reason for it being default is accessibility and strictness. Frames are verboten in the new world.

The best way you can help is to alert the owners of these sites that their site is being targeted by spammers and send them this information:

That will help them clean existing spam from a site and lock it down properly so it doesn't happen to them again.
