Moodle porn is alive, well and is still being hosted on Moodle learning sites all over the UK. Here are just a few from a very long list of UK Moodle sites hosting porn.

The site: http://www.vesa.org.uk/moodle/

The Porn: user 764

The site: http://www.essexacl.ac.uk/moodle/

The Porn: user 6039

The site: http://vle.nfgs.essex.sch.uk/

The Porn: user 182

The site: http://didawson.co.uk/moodle/

The Porn: user 597

The site: http://hope-foundation.co.uk/

The Porn:user 1342

The site: http://fie.org.uk/Moodle/

The Porn: user 625

Found these in about 5 minutes of searching among thousands of others just in the UK.

It's worth noting that Moodle is the ONLY lms with this problem...Blackboard, SAKAI, ATutor...none of the others have this problem.

Please don't post your porn links on this public forum. It's sensationalistic and doesn't actually help anyone. We have minors in this forum too.

The best way you can help is to alert the owners of these sites that their site is being targeted by spammers and send them this information:

http://docs.moodle.org/en/Spam

That will help them clean existing spam from a site and lock it down properly so it doesn't happen to them again.

I was rather dissapointed with this, I had hoped it was material so Moodletastic that in the sad mind of a fan like me it would be condsidered Moodle pron (like Gastro porn or property porn).

It wouldn't take long to find other web based software that users have not locked down and has thus been taken advantage of. Making a Blackboard site publicly accessible is a very rare situation* so it would be unlikely to have anonymous pron sightings and SAKAI and aTutor have a small overall market share making them less a attractive target for this type of posting.

You are confused. I believe they are "your" porn links Mr. Dougiamas.

You built the porn portal that is hosting them. I wonder how many minors are members of the thousands and thousands of Moodle porn hosting sites in existence today?

No, you are confused. The first site is hosted on an Apache server, so clearly we must blame the Apache team for the porn on that site. The second site is hosted on an IIS server, so clearly we must blame Microsoft for that one. In fact, Microsoft is doubly to blame for that one, since they built the operating system too! And don't get me started on whoever build the hardware!

I blame Larry and Sergei, I found links to some truly shocking stuff on Google the other day.
