They don't work in all browsers, but I don't think they break anything. Worth putting into core?

Can we please have some help documenting the current web services in Moodle 1.8? If Catalyst can start with a rough outline at least then I'm sure there are many of us willing to flesh it out.

Hmm, might be related to whether you have an image already or not. Can you please file a bug in the Moodle Tracker ?

It's not quite the same, but see the "restrictmodulesfor" setting in admin, and then visit the course settings pages ... you can define what types of activities are active per course.
