Thanks, ML, I only just found that function relatively recently and I assumed it was a fully finished replacement. I'll delete get_context_users_bycap and get_context_users_byrole now to avoid confusion! MDL-13261

I hope no-one was using it in 3rd party code ... sad

Yes, I am putting efforts into getting Moodle SCORM fully and officially Compliant, to help those that really need it. It's a huge standard and there's a lot of content out there in that format. It's a "tick" on the list of many decision makers.

Personally though, I think the SCORM model is detrimental to education in general. It's all dump and pump. I wouldn't use SCORM for any significant part of any course I was creating. smile

Sessions here are two hours long. The only way I can think you would get that error is if you logged out on another window and then logged back in there.

When I go back I do see the post in the editing textarea so I'm not sure what happened there either. What browser do you use?

Digests are set up by editing your user profile.

For testers, and for people who just like using the latest regardless of warnings. smile

We do have to be careful changing things, because we don't want to end up with lots of dead data or wrong links.

Thanks, Mark. We really do need to fix up and rationalise course formats, blocks and page types. I'm OK for a complete radical rewrite in 2.0 even if it's not backward compatible.

I'll read your post more carefully later on, but some quick thoughts:

1) Put this in the wiki where it can be worked on: http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Pagelib_2.0 and maybe http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:Course_formats_2.0

2) I think we should drop the whole id of a "pageid" and simply use standard contextids everywhere (they were added after original pagelib). This'll mean also extending contexts a little to cover some new areas like tags, blogs etc but it means we have a consistent framework between roles, pages, etc.
