I am still new with moodle right now, and I am trying to figure things out with SCORM.
I have created a Powerpoint presentation, used PPT2Flash to convert it into a SCORM file (or package). When I try to upload the SCORM package (as a whole or separately) it does not work. I get one of two messages:
1. Manifest not found (when trying to upload .xml file)
2. There are some problems with the given package. Check it and try again. (when trying to upload anything else; swf js html .....etc.)
Can someone point me into the right direction? I need some straight forward instructions on how to use SCORM. I am very lost!
I searched on google and downloaded PPT2Flash Professional from http://www.sameshow.com/powerpoint-to-flash-pro.html. I found the solution for you, hope it helps!
In the PowerPoint plug-in PPT2Flash Professional menu, select "Publish" > "LMS" > SCORM1.2/2004 (Select one) > "Convert" , after conversion, go to the output folder, you could find a "***.zip" file in it, upload it to Moodle.
If you still have questions, you could mail to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
any chance you could add some details to the Scorm Tips and Tricks page for this?
Thanks for your advice. I have added it at http://docs.moodle.org/en/SCORM_Authoring_Tips_and_Tricks.
