HTML Editor missing on one machine but present on another

HI

We have 2 machines in both using IE7, on one machine the HTML editor shows, on the other all they get is a box with the HTML in.  They are using the same user account to access Moodle from each machine and all HTML settings on Moodle are enabled.  Any ideas if there is a local setting that prevents the editor running as this seems machine specific?

Could javascript be disabled?

Hi Dave

Thank you for your reply, we have checked Java settings for Internet, intranet and trusted sites and they are all enabled, still no joy.

Angela,

check this setting:

 Tools - Internet Options - Security - Custom level - Scripting - Active scripting - ENABLE

(that setting turns javascript on/off in IE)
