I know this is nothing to do with the technical side of a quiz...but I was asked by a teacher if there was any way to jaz up the look of a quiz so it would be aesthitically (sp?) pleasing to primary grades (3rd). SHe was just asking if there was something to make it look better than just all text with multiple choice questions. I do not if she means she wants to add images/graphics or what?

Have you considered Hot Potatoes? You can see demos on the Hot Potatoes site, and play with examples in the "Features course" on the Moodle demo site (you need to login as admin first and activate the HotPot activity).
You can Jazz up almost everything in Moodle is you change the theme.
