As many of you I use moodle quiz for grading students. Now, I'd like to let students to be able to subscrive to a given quiz, i.e. only those that subscribe to the quiz (within a defined time span, say 3 days before it starts) can actually perform it.
Is there such a module (extension)?

I'm not sure exactly how to do this, but it probably can be managed somehow with groups. At least in Moodle 1.9, by using the groupings feature, you can make an activity only available to people in a group. Then you need to put the right students in a group.
