Student view - completed questionaires

Hi,
We offer a blended learning course (face to face, interactive video and Moodle) to students with many subjects. We use Moodle for proctored exams. We have students fill out a questionnaire on each subject block of instruction.

Is there anyway we can identify from a student view, which questionaires they have completed? An icon, a dim title or what ever?

Currently we are using 1.5.3 but we will be moving to 1.9 in the next two months or less.

Thanks Chris

Hi Chris,

"moving from 1.5.3 to 1.9" ... that's a giant leap!

As far as I can remember, there was no log of the Questionnaire activity in the student's report page in earlier versions of that module. Questionnaire activity is now logged, as you can see from this screen shot (under Moodle 1.9). At least I suppose this is what you meant by "identify from a student view".

Hi Joseph,
That is exactly what I didn't know about, thank you. I guess I had better test out my 1.9 local host as a student instead of as a near deity, with Questionaire.

And by the way, I really appreciate your consistent contributions to the Moodle Community.

Yes that will be a big jump. Our site administrator wants to do a fresh install of 1.9 on our internal LAN Moodle first. We also have an external internet Moodle. Primary use for the internal is for proctored tests (quizzes). They are so straightforward, that a 1.5.3 backup seems to restore and work just fine on a localhost 1.9. blush This is not social constructionist education !

On our internal LAN we like Quiz, Questionaire, and Grades. I know there are a few instructors looking forward to more robust Assignment and Group features. I can hardly wait for roles, gradebook, editing phrases, question bank and other features I have been working on in MoodleDocs ! big grin

My site administrator can be really slippery. Let me say that I was asked for my recommendation, it was "1.9 NOW, thank you very much". There is a quaint saying on this side of the pond. "I am from Missouri." Missouri is called The "Show Me" state. Next door to me in Vermont the old farmers like to say "Can't say, not knowing". Well I am hoping we tmove to 1.9 before summer gets underway and look forward to the contributed Questionnaire module in the 1.9 version.

Best Chris
