Hey everybody, I wasn't sure if this was the best place to put this, but here goes...
I'm wondering if it is possible to dis-allow students to edit their optional information. The worry is that the students can get other students information. In a school where the kids are connected with moodle, it could be distracting to allow optional information. It might also be decided that teachers will not have access to optional information if possible. Anyway, tanks for the help.

I may have just answered my own question. I seed that the ID NUMBER/PHONE/ADDRESS are all for only the teachers eyes. Cool...
