Someone would need to make the necessary files for the German translation. You could even do that yourself. See http://docs.moodle.org/en/Translation, particularly the bit at the end "Translation of third-party Moodle components".
If you can make the translation (there are only 8 strings to translate in one file), attach it to a post in this forum, and I will add it to CVS so everyone can benefit.
