Hi everybody.
I've a question about the configuration of chat daemon in a cluster. I think that is necessary running in all my servers the chat daemon, isn't it?
I need the answer because in this case we'll buy an especific hardware for access to chat daemon and load's balance.
And the value of chat_serverhost: ??????
Sorry for my english
Thanks in advance
Israel
Israel,
I have chat daemon running only on one machine. We have a load balancer. So the way I got it to work was like this.
chat_serverhost: This is where the public ip address would go. (eternal access)
chat_serverip: This is where my private address goes. (internal access)
I hope this helps.

First thank you very mach for your answer. And another question
You say that you have chat daemon running only on one machine... that's means that is not possible to install chat daemon on more than one machine???
Sorry for my English!!!

Israel,
Esta bien tu ingles. No pienso que puedes ser eso con chatd en el grupo de servidores, nunca lo he intentado.
But I don't think you can have the chatd run in a cluster. I have not tried that.
