Sorry if this is an obvious question, but does ANYONE know the current direction and options planned for existing (or new) HTML Editors for Moodle?
Specifically which one(s) are recommended to use for Moodle versions 1.8 & 1.9?
I've tried to follow the discussions in Moodle HTML forum and the FCKeditor and TinyMCE editor are being tested, but there didn't seem to be any clear decision on these new editors vs. old HTMLarea.
If anyone has info they can share it would be greatly appreciated.
We have been using Moodle 1.7.3+ and working on server performance, (with good progress) and our next priority was to see what improvements in Editors we might be able to provide our users - TIA for info!
