Hi,
I try to use the beep function in chat, but the beep dont sound in my Linux. I try with mozilla-firefox and with konqueror.
What is the problem?
Thanks
Ronaldo
This might seem a bit silly, but first things first, are you certain you can play wav files on your linux-box? the file is at
. open up a shell and pull it onto your box with
wget
If so, post what distribution of linux you're using (e.g. Mandrake, RedHat, Knoppix). I suspect this is going to be a linux/pc thing moreso than a Konquerer/IE thing.
Good luck,
Mark

Hmm....if only I had my linux box here at work to play....so I guess the next step is to determine how to make a linux box beep from a webbrowser and then see if Moodle is doing that. I'll look around a little today and get back to you.
