For some reason it won't delete images from the file browser. I select the image, hit delete, and the box refreshes but the image is still there.
Is this a permissions problem on the server or something in moodle I've set incorrectly?

Did you actually choose the image by checking the check box on left side of the image? Press delete and nothing happened.
If permissions aren't right you should get an error message.
