Hello,

From 1.8 we can add new fields to users profiles. Cool cool

Now I'm trying 1.9 and I have been searching forums - with no luck- trying to find if I can specify any of these new fields when importing users using a CSV. Is this supported?

I tried it myself with no luck sad . I have created a new field with its shortname. Then I created a CSV file, using this shortname as the column name: username,password,firstname,lastname,email,myfield1

The import process was OK, users were created but info for the myfield1 was not imported.

Is this the expected behavior ?

Hi,

in my opinion, this should really be implemented in Moodle.

I don't know if there's already something in the tracker about that...
