For various reasons, we do not want our teacher roles to be able to remove themselves from courses, so we've disallowed them the option to "unassign own role." This works perfectly on the sidebar of the course page (which is, admittedly, the major area of concern).
However, when an instructor goes to the Participants block to look at their own profile, they get an "unenroll me from this course" option there. Is this a bug or a "feature?" If it's the latter, is there another place to disable unassigning one's own role from the profile page?
Thanks,

Hi Adam,
From what you describe, it sounds like a bug. What version of Moodle are you using? Please add a report in the tracker, providing as much detail as possible, then post the bug report number in this discussion.
