As an administrator/teacher I can make new group events, but then I neither can see them nor edit!

I am using the latest CVS version

Thanks for the report - can I ask that everyone using Moodle 1.3 Beta please file bug reports with full information to duplicate such problems.

Someone opened bug #1384 in the tracker, which I 've assigned to myself. I 've changed the way this works; read the bug comments for a description. Ears open for suggestions and additional feedback.

I am encountering the same problem. Should I fill in a bug report too, or do something?
Cheers,

Have you made yourself an editing teacher in that course and still have problems with the events? I think that will solve your problem.

Yes, I am an editing teacher. I can activate the "Edit course content" button, and yet I cannot see Group events

Hi Christian,

I did receive your email although I couldn't access the site you gave me a link for... thoughtful If you can, please check it and send it again.

Other than that I 'll try to take a look as soon as possible to see if I can duplicate the problem. For your information, the place where debugging should start is lines 985-1000 in calendar/lib.php, that's from a 1.5 development copy but it should be somewhere near in 1.4.x copies too.

Hi!

I am having the exact same problem. I actually originally posted in the Groups forum--for whatever reason I missed this strand the first time through.  We are running whatever was the last release in December.  Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find the release date (I am not the installer).

Hi Elizabeth,

This problem was introduced again into Moodle by mistake, I think a little while before 1.4.3 was released. It has been fixed again for a few weeks now. Any recent copy of Moodle you grab will not have this bug, but if upgrading to a newer copy of 1.4 is not possible for you I could also provide patch instructions for whoever is maintaining your site.

Hi Jon,

Our engineer says that he has upgraded to the latest stable release (12/23/04) CVS version. If there is a solution beyond that could you please advise...We are still new to this.

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Beth

How is this done with the Windows version of CVS?  Specifically how do you add in the -r?

Thanks in advance...
