If I roam to a remote site as an administrator and then I realise that I actually want to log in as the local administrator it's hard to do. If I hit logout I get logged out of the original site and have to log back into both which isn't the end of the world but is annoying.

The login state is obviously in the session, so just resubmitting the URL of the remote site doesn't help in the slightest.

Am I missing something or is this a bit of a bug??

As the doctor said - if it hurts when you do that... don't do that!

For testing and messing about with various sites and roles, I always keep 3/4 different webbrowsers open that don't share cookies. So I can be logged in as several users in the same moodle.

On this (ubuntu) machine I have

  • Firefox
  • Mozilla
  • Galeon
  • Epiphany
  • Dillo
  • Lynx
  • elinks
  • Safari (actually, a hand-compiled webkit GTK)

Now, if beyond being awkward, it's getting stuck in a loop, yes, we'll have to fix a bug here or there...

(Edit: Also likely FAQ!)
