I am getting an error message saying "Module book (200705200 could not be installed. It requires a newer version of Moodle -- currently you are using 2007021501, you need 2007021505." I just installed Moodle 1.8 two weeks ago. How can I confirm the extended version number? Do I really need to install a newer version already? Thanks.
Me either, I was uncomfortable with that message but decided to install the version for 1.7 rather then tweak 1.8 to ignore that version check.
Version 1.7 in 1.8 - so far so good.
I tried the 1.7 version, and got another set of problems. I'm out of depth so I'm paying a SiteGround developer to fix it for me. And it seems to be taking them a while, too.
I upgraded to Moodle 1.8.2, went through the same installation procedure, and the book module does not show up at ALL! Any suggestions?
