Virtual Memory Getting Low

I've noticed lately that the more editing I do using the HTML editor, the more of my local machine's memory gets exhausted. Eventually, I get a warning from the operating system (WIN2K, in my case), that the virtual memory is very low.

To fix it, I have to close all browsers and start over. Note this is the browser machine, not the server.

Anyone else notice this?

Sorry, I guess that would help. IE 6.

Yes, I am having a similar problem. Often, after using the HTML editor for several minutes (half hour?), the HTML editor window will freeze. It usually starts when I click on the text coloring or smileys. I thought it might be an anti-emoticon bias in the code wink. I have to close the browser and restart the browser to get going again.

My browser is Mozilla 1.6 on a Mac 10.3.3.

In addition, Mozilla will crash and close once or twice a day.  I think it is while I use the HTML editor, but I need to watch exactly what occasions it.  Up til now I just assumed it was a Mozilla problem, or a Mac problem.

As I tried to edit my post above, Mozilla crashed again.  I want to add that this problem appears on my home Mac with limited memory.  I do not recall this happening on my office Mac with tons of extra memory installed.
