OK, I just installed this application. I go to the "start page" and find it blank. I am logged in as administrator, but I don't know how to get to anything. There's no edit button?

Now what do I do? How do I get to my Moodle?

John, I'm so ignorant, I don;t even know how to do a screen capture. Here's the site: http://samuelacademy.com/Moodle/

What the guest sees is what the Admin sees. The only difference is up at the log in it says You are logged in as Admin User (logout)

That's it.

I thought I would be clever and tweak the address: http://samuelacademy.com/Moodle/admin

That just takes me to an upgrade page, which I've already done.

I don;t know what else to do. On my other Moodle site (1.8) when I downloaded it, it had a Miscellaneous course link that took me into course setup. And I was in.

This one, I don't have anything to get me "in".

Oh, the one I'm trying to work with is Moodle 1.7.  My other Moodle 1.8 is what I'm testing. Moodle 1.7 is the one I must have up and running by July 30th!

Fixed it!
I just deleted it and the database and started over. When I downloaded everything the 2nd time, it was all there: the miscellaneous course and the edit icon.

Thanks for trying!
