I've been asked to find out how Moodle copes when large numbers of students (e.g. 100-150) are all accessing a quiz at the same time.
I've had a look at the report from 2005 which looks at a multiple-server set up with 55 students per server. Does anyone have any more recent figures based on a single-server installation, or would we need to consider a multiple-server solution and if so, what's the maximum capacity for good performance?
