General help

Hi I have created a category that has several courses which also has a sub category containing 2 courses. The two courses within the sub category both have enrolment keys.

My problem is that I have assigned the teacher role to the root category so that a user can enter all courses without being asked to enrol, however it would seem that this role has also been inherited by the sub category courses as well. Therefore even though they have an enrolment key, the two courses within the sub category simply let the teacher role in, instead of asking them to enter the enrolment key?

I understand why Moodle is allowing this i.e. inheriting the role from the root category to allow all users to enter courses, however it therefore makes the sub category course enrolment keys pointless?
