We just started working with feedback in 1.7 and I wondered if we could continue after upgrading to Moodle 1.8
thanks
Willem
I have just installed feedback on my test server running 1.8. It works wonderfully : )
Just that a few strings seem to be missing from the English lang file.
Also it would be good if it reports job done after resetting feedback data or drop feedback altogether in the reset course page.
thanks for the answer
we'll give it a try

After upgrading our Moodle from 1.8 beta to 1.8 latest stable, I was met by this message on the blocks admin screen:
> Block feedback is not compatible with the current version of Moodle and
> needs to be updated by a programmer.
Feedback _seem_ to work anyway, at least partially. I've viewed the results of already fed back feedbacks, which look fine.
Is this a result of an overly cautious version check, or will we get in trouble if we continue using Feedback?
The feedback activity module version is 2007013002. Is there a later version?

As long as you are using the 1.7 version it should be fine. I'm not aware of anything in 1.8 that would be different for the feedback module. I have a working version of 2006120301 on Moodle 1.8 that is working well.
