hi,
i've installed successfully moodle on my test machine which is not a DNS - registered server but has a static ip. When someone connects to my server(in the same subnet) with a URL like this "http://1**.1**.***.***/moodle" (the asterisks represent the server IP)the first page loads correctly but the links on every page instead of pointing to the server ip, point to "localhost". Can you help me change this?

If I am getting this correct you need to fix the local host reference in your config.php file that will be in your moodle directory. This would have been configured when you installed and set it to localhost for the server. Just change this to the ip address and you should be good to go.
