I have a new Moodle installation almost fully functional. When I go to the user profile page it indicates that GD is not installed. However if I go to the Server/PHP Info screen it does show that GD(2) is installed:

To further complicate this issue, when I click on the hyperlink that is included with this error it results in page cannot be found. The URL is: http://moodle/lms/admin/config.php. This config file is definately not in this path but it is in the root folder but doesn't appear to have any settings related to the GD PHP extension.
