General help

Hi everyone,

We are seeing robots trying to register for our moodle site, it is version 1.6.1 They appear to be using the same firstname and lastname. Perhaps this has already been fixed in a later version? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We could modify the registration file to check for firstname!=lastname but I'd like to keep the install as stock as possible to allow for easy upgrading.
