Problem with Downloading Grades into Excel

Hi all

I am viewing the 'Grades' for my course and would like to download them into Excel. When I click on 'Download into Excel' it produces the Excel spreadsheet but when I open it, it is unreadable.

I have included the Excel spreadsheet

It worked last week.

We are using Office 2003. I have tested several different users and several different courses and the same problem occurs.

Hi Daniel:

I have a similar problem. I usually get around it by choosing Download in 'Text Format' and opening the file with Excel.

Thanks Carl - I noticed you could do that, so at least we have a work around. It's funny that it worked fine until a few days ago. I can't think of anything that has changed.
